Windows Live Writer Upgrades!

I’ve been having problems today posting from Windows Live Writer, so I headed over to the official page to see if there happened to be an update and boy was there! The update is nothing minor, for various changes to the interface have been made, all of which I’m loving as I type this.

If you’ve seen what Live Writer looked like previously, you’ll notice that the categories box has been moved to the bottom of the page with keywords, TrackBacks and such. I like this move a lot. Previously, it was located in the upper right corner and because it was so out of the way, I would sometimes forget to place my posts in a category. Another new change to note is the new dialog box for various features such as inserting a hyperlink or an image (which now sports a preview box when importing from the web). I immediately when to options and looked for any changes there. The first thing I noticed was the ability to automatically save drafts after a certain period of time. I turned on the option to automatically check for spelling errors BEFORE posting and I’ve noticed that LW now has inline spell checking! I LOVE that!
Unfortunately for me, this hasn’t solved my problem with LW not being able to post to my site. I really have no clue what’s going on with it except that I keep getting this error:

The post URL for the weblog was not found: ****
The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

Onto Google to find out some tips on how to solve this problem.
