Airtalkr Instant Messenger

So, I downloaded AirTalkr, an instant messaging program that runs off of Adobe’s AIR platform, and I’m not impressed. Why? Because I can’t even register for the service through the actual program so that I can receive an “aircard”, which is a “social profile card of your IM buddies…”. I didn’t think I would need to register for the service in the first place. I mean, you don’t have to register with Meebo, an online instant messaging service, just to use it. Also, I can’t find a way to register through the program’s official page and the FAQ is of no help. The program is giving me an error; an actionscript error. I don’t understand it one bit, but it seems the program is having a hard time registering me. What’s going on here? Am I missing something?

Maybe I’ll try it out another day….
