True, but Firefox reacts the same as Chrome to extensions. However, I find Chrome is still up and running with relatively no issues even with both bookmarks and at least 10 extensions running. I don’t notice the same speed or performance with Firefox.

Also because of Chrome’s architecture, the more the extensions you have the more resource hungry it becomes. So our alternatives are bookmarklets if you don’t mind settling for them – Chrome will never be a Firefox anyway so why bother.

Webkit browsers are meant to be run by itself (Safari/Chrome) – they all about speed and simplicity, nothing else really.

Why is chrome's downloading so slow? It goes at almost half the speed of available bandwidth. Suppose I wish to use DAP for downloading, how do I integrate it in chrome?

I normally open many windows and tabs and do my things. So I use Chrome because it is very fast loading and this is the best thing that comes out of Chrome. So if speed is what you want, use Chrome selectively.
