Viral Content is Repetitive
Skellie of Daily Blog Tips has a great article listing 5 reasons why viral content is king right now. While every reason he points out is great and agreeable, I honestly can not stand viral content. Maybe it would be awesome if people could better discern what’s suited to actually be viral content and what’s actually just plain repetition. The latter is exactly what Viral Content is becoming for me. I hate to see the same stories posted on several sites and blogs that I subscribe to unless it’s giving a different point of view. Usually, that’s not the case. Sometimes, it’s the exact same story. Maybe Google Reader needs to be more in tune with repetition and duplicates. It’s annoying. Once I’m done reading one item (article) in Google Reader, I’m ready to move on to a new one with a new topic or focus.
