@SxSW – Why The OQO Might Be Your Next Great Conference Gadget

While visiting the TechSet blogger lounge at SxSW Interactive today, I ran across my good friend Nicole Simon who happened to be playing with an OQO2. I was blown away by this device which is why I’m blogging about it.
When it comes to talking about how awesomesauce Social Media is we rarely talk about how hardware can have a huge hand in that. You can’t be social if you don’t have the tools for communicating right? And some tools are more useful than others depending on your level of communication.
Well the OQO is perfect for keeping up with more social networks and communities because of it’s form factor. You get the basic power foundation that you’d need to use simple tools like Firefox,Twhirl, Tweetdeck, and more, without the massive size which is unnecessary at an event like SxSW. It’s a really great device that at first look might not really catch your attention.
Check out the Qik vids below to get a better understanding of why this awesomesauce device is probably the best tool for you to carry around at any conference or event. My only regret is that I couldn’t hold it longer to really give a more in-depth review.
