Identi.ca Finally Adds A Replies Tab!

Earlier last week I blogged about a new micro-blogging service known as identi.ca. Since them, it’s been talked abotu as a Twitter alternative in numerous circles. Quite a few people are expected to stay on board the identi.ca train and ride this very interesting wave.

I’ve been watching my identi.ca stream all weekend. Evan Prodromou, the developer of identi.ca has been a busy man. Most of the time it seemed he was working on XMPP. So users of Jabber/XMPP clients experienced some bumps every now and again. For the most part, it’s been smooth sailing for the bast 48 hours. However this morning, Evan surprised me with a very good present: a replies tab!

As you can see, it’s definitely replicating Twitter in many ways for replies. Aside from the reply tab itself, you also see what message users were replying to.

    sad that summize would be pruchased by twits, the opportunity to pull things from many places may be lost
